A few weeks ago we headed up Little Cottonwood Canyon again this year to Snowbird’s annual Oktoberfest. With free entry and only $5 to park, you don’t spend very much at all to get in the door! We arrived with tummies ready to eat and drink. First things first, lunch. I started off the day with a weisswurst, warm potato salad and spatzle, YUM! And of course I washed it all down with a yummy dark beer in my stein from last year.
Then we walked around and checked out all the vendors and also thought about riding the mini bobsled, until I find out it was about fifteen bucks, no thanks. Time for another beer instead! Yummy stein refill of Uinta Golden Spike. We had some thick cut french fries as well, so yummy.
I also played a bit of cornhole bean bag toss, which is always fun. I think this will always be a must do at the end of every summer. It gets pricey by the end of the day, but being free to get in definitely helps it be affordable.
